Job Overview - Senior Operations Associate - CLO: Are you an expert in CLO and leveraged loan operations looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our New York City team, as a dedicated Senior Operations Associate - CLO. In this dynamic role, you will support our operations, accounting, trading, and investment teams. Location: New York, NY Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000/year base + bonus Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Responsibilities as the Senior Operations Associate - CLO:
- Portfolio Reviews and Reconciliations: Perform daily portfolio reviews, reconciliations with trustee and administrative providers, and monthly CLO reporting with quarterly distributions.
- Corporate Actions and Cash Balance Monitoring: Monitor portfolio corporate actions, ensure updates internally and with service providers, and monitor cash balances, perform warehouse funding's calculations, and prepare drawdown requests.
- New Issue Management and Transaction Support: Manage new issue CLO warehouse procedures and coordinate with audit and tax teams. Support Capital Markets/Structuring team in CLO transactions, including new issues, resets, and refinancing's.
- Compliance and Fund Accounting Support: Run hypothetical trades for CLO indenture compliance, support the investment team, and resolve bank loan inquiries or discrepancies with fund accountants.
- Projects: Assist with ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as assigned.
Qualifications for the Senior Operations Associate - CLO:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: 3-10 years of CLO operations, compliance, and reporting experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, strong Excel skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of CLO indenture compliance and reporting, experience with Sentry, Wall Street Office, Markit, or other loan processing systems, familiarity with LevPro or similar portfolio management systems, comfortable with cash and position reconciliation.
