Your Role
In this role, you will lead a team of leaders and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your site. Your key responsibilities will include staffing, warehouse operations, budgeting, P&L, and customer service. Have a hands-on approach for succession planning, building bench strength, and continuous improvement projects.
Your Responsibilities
* You will establish long-range labor needs based on sales forecasts
* Ensure compliance with the implementation of quality, safety, and security
* Implement processes for the maintenance of the building, equipment, housekeeping, and sanitation programs
* Collaborate with the management team to establish goals
* Lead the operations of the warehouse Supervisory personnel to achieve prescribed goals
* You will control and direct all transportation into and out of the warehouse to meet company standards
* Support Production Department Managers to develop a smooth flow of inventory into the warehouse for both shipping and storage
* To set up the standard training program for all levels of employees involved in the operations and to train them
* You will complete annual performance reviews
Your Skills and Experiences
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management discipline or similar field or equivalent work experience
* 10+ years of Industry experience
* 7+ years as a manager in a distribution environment; 3PL experience is preferred
* WMS experience of 5+ years
* 2+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Process Improvement
