This role is integral to ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality and safety standards.   • Operational Leadership
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, project execution, and financial management under the executive team's guidance.
    • Act as a leader and manager, showcasing deep expertise in the concrete construction industry.
  • Client and Business Development
    • Cultivate and expand relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and community leaders.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • People Development and Team Building
    • Recruit and mentor key staff, ensuring alignment with the company's values and goals.
    • Create and manage the organizational structure and staffing plan for the operations team.
    • Oversee administrative and support functions, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Project Management and Safety
    • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of concrete projects.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, management, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
    • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Manage profit and loss (P&L) by forecasting revenues, monitoring cash flow, and identifying financial risks.
    • Develop and maintain revenue and income projections while managing general and administrative expenses.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Contract and Risk Management
    • Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
    • Identify and mitigate financial and legal risks effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate trends, and implement improvements.
    • Develop feedback loops to ensure the continuous sharing of information and best practices.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in construction or management services, with a focus on concrete operations, including significant field experience to ensure practical knowledge and hands-on expertise.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with the Texas market and established relationships with developers, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Education: Degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions
  • Combination of office-based and on-site work.
  • Frequent travel to job sites to monitor project progress and address challenges.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform fine motor skills for extended periods.

Schedule:
  • Full Time - Overtime on Key Projects
  • Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
  • Overtime during the busy season
Work Location:
  • Primary in TX and ND based on seasonal work
