Our client is a prominent New York Personal Injury Law Firm based in Mineola (Long Island). They seek a Senior Paralegal to report directly to its partners and work full-time in the office. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- Must be Bi-Lingual and speak English and Spanish
- 5 years' experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice
- Ability to talk to clients.
- Preparing and filing all pleadings/complaints, bills of particulars, retrieval of medical records, Medicare and Medicaid final reporting, and various facets of the Plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
- Scheduling as needed
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Assisting with mediation and deposition
- Trial Preparation
- Client Contact/intakes
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal reporting to a partner
- Ability to prioritize and multitask many cases at one time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge in Time Matters, e-filing, and all Microsoft suite of products.
