Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join their team in New York.Responsibilities: Lead and manage plumbing and fire protection design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and budgets. Develop plumbing and fire protection designs, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of plumbing and fire protection systems with overall building design. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on plumbing and fire protection design. Perform site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design plans and specifications. Prepare and present reports and proposals to clients. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in plumbing and fire protection design. Build and maintain client relationships for repeat business and referrals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum 10 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm. Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection codes, standards, and best practices. Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software. Excellent project management and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
