Job Summary The Senior Power BI Developer will design, develop, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the needs of business stakeholders. This role involves gathering business requirements, creating complex DAX calculations, ensuring data security, and providing user support. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers and analysts to transform data for reporting and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Power BI features and trends. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs • Gather and analyze requirements for data visualization and reporting • Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and prepare data for analysis • Create complex DAX calculations and measures to support analytical insights • Ensure data security and compliance with best practices in Power BI • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Power BI reports • Provide training and support to end users on Power BI functionalities • Stay informed on the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices Required Qualifications • Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation • Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization principles • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation • Proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field • Power BI certifications (preferred) Preferred Qualifications • Proven experience connecting Power BI to external data sources (e.g., Excel, ServiceNow) • Strong dashboard design skills with minimal supervision • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to adapt to changing business requirements • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Education: Bachelors Degree
