Play a crucial role in shaping the firm's pricing strategy. Tasked with creating budgets, formulating Alternative Fee Arrangements, and recommending strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models and analytics to support pricing proposals.
- Analyze historical financial data related to revenue, realization, and profitability.
- Assist partners in pricing requests, including fee estimates and value pricing communication.
- Collaborate with management groups and attorneys to guide rates and pricing strategy for profitable growth.
- Document and implement best practices in pricing and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to extract relevant financial data for pricing and financial analysis.
- Review and ensure compliance with outside counsel guidelines for new matters.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of post-bachelor's Degree experience in an analytical environment (e.g., accounting, finance, economics) from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in constructing complex models, financial analyses, and reports using Excel, and other relational database systems.
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders, including partners, business development professionals, and accounting staff.
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated agility in diverse cultural and business environments, using various communication methods to influence and lead others.
