Dynamic organization is looking for someone who can apply their expertise in Process Automation to develop and implement advanced control systems that optimize manufacturing processes across multiple locations. This role combines technical leadership in PLC programming, control network design, and process control strategies with hands-on problem-solving. Travel would be approximately 30% and not weekly.This person will:
- Oversee capital control projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet defined scope, budget, and timeline objectives.
- Work closely with plant operations and corporate teams to design and implement innovative control systems for manufacturing process improvements.
- Focus on enhancing safety, efficiency, capacity, and product quality within our chemical processing operations.
- Ensure adherence to Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations and corporate standards for instrumentation, control network architecture, and automation practices.
Relocation offered for the right candidateMUST Haves:
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- A MINIMUM of 8 years of experience in controls engineering in chemical/materials manufacturing sites, programming Rockwell/Allen Bradley systems
- At least 5 years of experience in project engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence
