Responsive Arthroscopy is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer for full time work. The position would report to the Director of R&D and take on product development projects. Medical device design and solid modeling experience are required (Creo preferred). Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop product(s) in full compliance with the Company's Design Control requirements.
- Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing) for pilot manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Support prototype build and test efforts.
- Responsible for component and assembly models and documentation.
- Interface extensively with other members of the organization as well as external suppliers and customers.
- Complete new and existing product testing, including comparison testing with competitor products, protocol development, and test report documentation.
- Responsible for supporting overall verification and validation efforts including design reviews.
- Work in an open office layout and fast-paced environment to complete projects on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred)
- Minimum of 8+ years of medical device design/development experience
- Experience designing molded and machined components and assemblies
- Proficient in CAD modeling software (Creo preferred)
- Strong understanding of engineering materials, component selection, and design for reliability and manufacturability
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate.
- Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing priorities.
