How you'll make an impact

As Senior Product Manager for AI, you will lay the foundation for our industry-leading AI/ML capabilities. You will oversee the strategic development of our data infrastructure, unlocking value across both our traveler facing features and data analytics suite. The product you develop will bring delight to travelers at some of the world's largest enterprises and you'll be at the heart of our product strategy and execution. This position requires a customer-centric perspective, a hands-on approach, and the ability to move quickly to meet our ambitious goals.

What you'll own

  • Set the foundation for AI-first features by architecting our data infrastructure in a way that enables advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Oversee the implementation of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring data reliability, consistency, and integrity.
  • Develop industry-leading AI functionality to drive efficiency for both travelers and agents, driving a best-in-class travel experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and operations teams to build personalization into every facet of the experience and help drive delightful customer experiences.
  • Experience to bring with you

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or technology product environment - startup experience a plus.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing data infrastructure solutions, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, relational databases, and SQL, with the ability to optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and current market leaders, with the ability to collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy AI-driven features and models.
  • Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training/validation processes, with a focus on building scalable and reliable AI solutions.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willing and able to work in an open office environment in New York or Palo Alto in a hybrid structure.

Our approach holistically assesses total compensation, including cash, company equity, and comprehensive benefits. Our market-based compensation approach uses data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set salary ranges that are thoughtful and consistent with the role, industry, company size, and internal equity of our team. Each employee is paid within the minimum and maximum of their position's compensation range based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related specifications.

    The annual cash compensation for this role is: $150,000 - $190,000 (base salary)
