It begins with a Card Member using an American Express Card at one of our millions of proprietary Merchants around the world – then processing that transaction and getting the merchant paid is up to us. The Merchant Platforms & Capabilities (ACD) Products team is at the heart of the proprietary transaction process.

‘Amex Offers' is a proprietary digital advertising platform that enables its merchant partners to create targeted offers and reach desired consumers. The Manager/Sr Manager – Amex Offers Product Management will be responsible to lead the transformation of the Amex Offers creation process by introducing automation into the workflow, leveraging the power of data & AI/ML to deliver a collaborative user experience for Merchants and internal sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategy, roadmap, and development of Amex Offers capability that spans workflow automation, an AI/ML driven decision engine as well as a Merchant-facing user interface.
  • Partner with Technology to define architecture and deliver new Amex Offers capabilities and experiences.
  • Champion collaboration across Product, Design, Data Science, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Servicing, Compliance and Legal teams.
  • Oversee platform data capabilities, API integrations, and big data/GCP use cases powering Amex Offers transformation.
  • Understand the user, both Merchant and internal sales teams, and their unique needs to define features and user stories.
  • Define automated process flow to optimize the end-to-end Amex Offers workflow in partnership with marketing, operations, and platform teams.
  • Define and monitor product metrics and KPIs.
  • Partner closely with the user research and analytics team to integrate customer feedback and user metrics into product roadmap.
  • Effectively engage multiple stakeholders, business partners and dependent product owners to develop the overall product strategy and roadmap, identify opportunities, and define success metrics.
  • Be a passionate advocate for the Amex Merchant.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of digital product management experience working in lean and scalable teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity and operate with a high degree of independence.
  • Experience translating customer data, insights and feedback into informed product strategy and roadmap.
  • Aptitude for user experience and technology with the ability to speak fluently across data science, design and engineering.
  • Quantitative degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred (e.g. data science, computer science, mathematics, etc.).
  • Experience with user onboarding and go-to market is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.
  • Experience working on Advertising Platforms is preferred.
  • Experience working on B2B / Merchant facing digital products is preferred.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits.
