REMOTE: We're looking for the best talent no matter where you are in the United States. Please note this person will need to work EST hours and there is expected travel to the Dearborn, MI area approximately one-week 6X/year.

What you'll be doing

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the Data Orchestration Platform, aligned with the company's overall modernization strategy and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into detailed product specifications.
  • Deeply understand the intricate data orchestration landscape and business processes, ensuring the Data Orchestration Platform effectively addresses data querying/mutation needs and supports critical user journeys.
  • Champion a narrative-driven approach to product development, clearly communicating features and functionalities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead and drive narrative and event storming sessions with cross-functional teams, including engineering, enterprise architecture, and other product teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and sound implementation of product features.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and team members, presenting compelling product visions, roadmaps, and updates.
  • Create well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, prioritizing them into release planning.
  • Refine features and stories, participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives.
  • What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education.
  • 12+ years' experience working with customer, marketing and financial data like billing, servicing, payments, and loans.
  • Possess a strong understanding of GraphQL, Apollo Client/Server/Studio, and related technologies.
  • Experience in building data orchestration platforms.
  • Experience in API Security and gateway.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis.
  • Ability to break down complex tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks identifying clear pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies.
  • Good to have familiarity with RBAC, ReBAC and ABAC Concepts for API Security.
