- Own and deliver on Knot's core merchant connectivity platform encompassing hundreds of online merchant integrations that write and read data from merchant accounts.
- Deeply understand business and product needs to strategically prioritize the feature development and maintenance of existing merchant integrations, as well as brand new integrations.
- Dive into the complex & varied operational challenges of scaling the platform, identifying inefficiencies and developing automated solutions to increase the velocity of feature development.
- Collaborate and partner with nearly every team at Knot across product, engineering, GTM, and cofounders to jointly shape successful product plans.
What you'll need to get the job done
- 5+ years of experience building products with a major technical and/or data component.
- Experience working at a high-growth technology startup.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams of engineers towards a common goal.
- Fluency with common technical concepts in engineering, as well as core data concepts.
- Experience building and/or working with scaled manual or automated testing operations.
- An operational mindset that lends itself to finding creative, often automated solutions.
- Extremely demonstrable grit and persistence in solving both product & process challenges in front of you.
- Exceptional intuition and judgement in decision making.
- Ability to work with engineers in various time zones.
- Software engineering background a major plus.
