Develop and Maintain aProduct Roadmap throughout the Product Life-Cycle: Develop a collaborative long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area and drive the execution of that visionForm strong relationships across the organization to ensure an aligned and cohesive family of productsGather and analyze product and performance metrics, user feedback, program requirements, and technical objectives to inform product development priorityResearch and understand competitor products and customer needs to drive differentiation and competitive advantageServe as a bridge between technical and business objectives by taking an active role in the authorship of proposals and requests for informationManage the execution of Product Development objectives: Lead the day-to-day development efforts of cross-functional engineering teams to deliver technical requirements on-time and within budgetDevelop and maintain schedules and coordinate resources to meet objectivesFacilitate the removal of barriers, the coordination of dependencies, and the management of riskCommunicate routine product status, risk assessments, and issues while quickly adapting to new challenges and opportunitiesTrack and ensure product compliance with regulations and requirements related to export, IP-protection, cyber-security, FCC authorization, environmental hardening, and similar considerations A successful candidate may have... A Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant technical or management degree10 or more years of combined related industry experience3 or more years of progressive technical project or product management with a proven track record of supporting high-performing teamsOutstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a talent for succinctly articulating status, risks, challenges, and successes Comfort speaking publicly and directly to customers about Hidden Level ProductsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisionsHigh emotional intelligence and comfort with autonomy and responsibilityA willingness to travel up to 20%Experience with communications, radar, or similar sensor systems strongly preferredThe location of this position may be remote, hybrid, or onsite in the Syracuse, NY office. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $140,000 to $180,000 annually.
