Meet your team

The SAP Data & Analytics Product Marketing team is responsible for creating compelling category and product messaging, implementing marketing campaigns that drive awareness and demand, and delivering market insights on customer needs and the competitive landscape. This role reports to the VP of Data & Analytics Product Marketing.

Objective & Purpose

This new product marketing role will focus on continuing to establish SAP as the industry leader in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). You will work with other FP&A experts and be responsible for driving the messaging, web strategy, marketing campaigns, product launches, event content, and customer stories. You will report to the VP of Product Marketing to develop and execute the marketing strategy that will drive awareness and adoption of SAP's industry-leading enterprise planning product—SAP Analytics Cloud.

This role will work closely with product management, global communications, sales, field marketing, and partner marketing. If you are passionate about FP&A and looking for a role that will enable you to develop into a product marketing leader, this role is made for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Journey: Work with stakeholders across Integrated Marketing and Product Management to create a customer journey that drives awareness, thought leadership, and adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud for planning.
  • Content: Create compelling product messaging and content that is used for web strategy and customer-facing assets such as presentations, whitepapers, and eBooks.
  • Project Management: Be the glue that brings together multiple stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, and Communications to ensure that key deliverables are finalized on time and have input from main subject matter experts—including yourself.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, marketing, technology, and/or business field
  • Fundamental understanding of financial planning & analysis
  • Basic knowledge of FP&A tools
  • Basic knowledge of product marketing

    Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. The targeted combined range for this position is 136,300 - 283,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
