The Role As the Senior Manager of Product Marketing at Vim, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for our solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product development, marketing, and sales, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution. You'll be responsible for deeply understanding our product suite, target audience, and competitive landscape to craft messaging that resonates, drives engagement, and accelerates adoption among our B2B healthcare customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including Product, Sales, Customer, and Marketing-to ensure alignment and bring Vim's product story to life. You'll translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that communicates Vim's value to the healthcare ecosystem. The day-to-day includes strategizing on product positioning, creating sales enablement assets, defining messaging for product launches, and providing insights on customer needs to inform product roadmaps. What you will do
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, updates, and expansions, ensuring cohesive alignment with overall company goals.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Create product positioning and messaging that clearly communicates Vim's unique value propositions to various customer segments within the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and distribute sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, competitive battle cards, and product one-pagers to empower the sales team.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis, gathering insights to guide product development and adjust go-to-market strategies.
  • Customer Research & Insights: Act as the voice of the customer (VOC) by conducting regular interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions, translating customer needs into actionable product and marketing recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Customer, and Marketing to ensure seamless product launch execution, and provide insights that drive marketing and product roadmap decisions.
  • Performance Metrics & Optimization: Define key metrics for product marketing success, track performance, and iterate strategies to optimize impact.
  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate on content that reinforces Vim's market leadership in healthcare, including whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts.

Must have experience listed here
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a related role, with a strong preference for healthcare or enterprise software sectors.
  • Background in healthcare technology or B2B healthcare experience.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies, from ideation to launch.
  • Extensive experience in positioning enterprise SaaS solutions, with demonstrated expertise in messaging and content creation for technical and executive audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare industry challenges, regulatory considerations, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency with market research tools, competitive analysis, and performance tracking metrics.
  • Located in New York City with the ability to come to the office 3 days a week
The ideal candidate will come from a tier-one technical startup with a history of high growth and scale. They will have a strong enterprise software go-to-market background with a highly technical foundation. What is Nice to Have
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of connected healthcare ecosystems and familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with a knack for interpreting and leveraging data to inform marketing strategies.

The target base salary for this role is between $140,000K to $180,000 per year (Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, and level of experience)
