Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Owner to lead our online web experience initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping the online narrative of what our company offers, educating our customers about our products, and facilitating their research, purchase, and service needs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, customer-centric focus, ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and has business savvy to drive the necessary innovations to take the online experience to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive online web experience strategy that aligns with our company's objectives and enhances customer engagement.
  • Customer Journey Optimization: Design and optimize the online customer journey to facilitate research, purchasing, and servicing needs, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, customer service, and IT to ensure a cohesive and integrated online presence. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment and seamless communication.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the online web experience. Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success.
  • Project Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of web experience projects, from ideation and development through to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Development Process: Work closely with development team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of launches and anticipate and plan for any risks. Participate in sprint planning and reviews. Provide clarifications and decisions promptly to keep the development process moving efficiently.
  • Resource Management: Create, prioritize and maintain the product backlog and ensure the backlog aligns with the overall product strategy and business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all online content and features meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional IT industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a digital.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Adobe Cloud or similar tools.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing online web experience strategies that drive customer engagement and meet business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience with content management systems and website development is a plus.
  • Note: Candidate can reside in the US but the Chicagoland Area is preferred.

    Basic Requirements
  • Bachelors degree with 10+ years with IT professional experience
  • AND 5+ years of product management/product owner experience
  • AND 2+ years of Adobe Cloud experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
