Job Details

Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Production Operator to join our food/dietary supplement manufacturing company and work on one of our production lines.

This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the equipment used in liquid/powder food and supplement manufacturing. You will also perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and assist with changeovers and cleaning.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain the machines and equipment used in liquid/powder food and supplement manufacturing, such as mixers, fillers, cappers, labelers, and palletizers
  • Perform quality checks on the products and the equipment, such as weight, fill level, torque, seal, label, and code verification
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that occur during production, such as jams, leaks, spills, or defects
  • Assist with changeovers and cleaning of the machines and equipment, following the standard operating procedures and the sanitation guidelines
  • Follow the safety rules and regulations, and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the Team Lead or the Supervisor
  • Comply with the food safety and quality standards, such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of production data, such as output, waste, downtime, and inventory
  • Communicate and collaborate with other production line workers, the Team Lead, and other departments, such as maintenance, engineering, and logistics, to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and best practices, such as lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen
