Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Administration Director, who will be instrumental in ensuring the success of a large - scale rail tunnel construction program in New York/New Jersey. The individual in this role will play a critical part by providing strategic direction, effective leadership, and operational oversight.

Role Accountabilities:

* Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team across functional disciplines.

* Manage various aspects like resource management, real estate, IT support, procurement, human resources, diversity/civil rights, and sustainability.

* Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and ensure fiscal responsibility

* Manage financial aspects of the project, including cost control and financial reporting.

* Manage contracts related to the project, ensuring compliance and successful negotiation.

* Oversee commercial aspects of the project, including vendor relationships and procurement.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree Engineering, Construction Management or related field

* 20+ years of proven experience in successfully managing significant construction projects, with heavy focus on commercial, contractual and financial skills.

Key Skills and Abilities:

* Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively in executing complex tasks across functional disciplines.

* Proficiency in managing teams, motivating individuals, and fostering a positive work environment.

* Proven track record in delivering major capital infrastructure programs in Project Management or Program Management roles.

* Familiarity with programs funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).

* Experience in managing consulting operations, particularly in joint venture (JV) relationship management.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders and team members effectively.

* Strong organization and presentation skills for reporting project updates and status to senior management.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $285,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
