Job Description:

A Senior Program Manager job in Oldsmar, FL is currently available at Belcan. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the full lifecycle of aerospace electronics test equipment projects under Firm, Fixed Price (FFP) contracts. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in aerospace electronics, program management, FFP proposal development and FFP contract execution. The Senior Program Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed customer expectations

Job Duties:

* Overall responsibility for Program Management and Execution.

* Oversee cost estimating process for firm, fixed price proposals in response to customers' RFPs.

* Program Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver aerospace electronics test equipment projects from initial cost roll-up, pricing and program initiation through delivery and post-delivery support.

* Contract Management: Oversee the development of and execution of firm, fixed price contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and deliverables.

* Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.

* Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers. Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that arise.

* Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality. Implement corrective actions as needed to stay on track.

* Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project objectives. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments.

* Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

* Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

* Cost Estimating: Provide FFP proposal management leadership to the cross-functional team to ensure proposals are responsive to the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents in a competitive marketspace.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Electrical, Electronics or Software degree is preferred. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

* Experience: Minimum of 10 years of program management experience in aerospace electronics or a related field, with a clear focus on firm, fixed price contracts.

* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aerospace electronics systems and components. Experience in Embedded Electronics with experience in Embedded Electronics Test Systems is a plus.

* Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.

* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, senior management, and team members.

* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial management skills. Ability to analyze project metrics and implement data-driven decisions.

* Travel: Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings, site visits, and other business needs.

* Must be a U. S. Citizen

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

* Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.

* Experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

* Advanced proficiency in fixed price project management.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $130,000 to $150,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
