bout the Role: Our client, a top-tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm, is looking for a qualified Senior Program Manager or Project Manager to join their team. You will be instrumental in setting up and running a Project Management Office (PMO) dedicated to improving the Retail Wireless business process for Dish Network. This role is pivotal in driving significant process improvements within a challenging and high-pressure environment characterized by strong personalities and intense financial scrutiny. Key Responsibilities: Setup Phase: Collaborate with client leadership to design and establish a robust PMO framework. Lead the intake process, vet project ideas, determine priorities, and define the scope and workplans for improvement projects. Launch and oversee the execution of key business improvement initiatives. Potentially position the setup phase as an investment in the client's long-term success. Mentor and guide the setup team, ensuring alignment with the client's goals and culture. Run Phase: Manage a team of 4-8 senior Program and Project Managers, working alongside client resources to ensure smooth PMO operations. Oversee the intake process, create comprehensive project charters and workplans, and execute projects according to the agreed schedule. Lead regular project readouts and updates at weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals. Navigate a cross-functional and dynamic environment to drive project success and achieve business objectives. Maintain a presence on-site in the south side of Denver metro to effectively manage and support the team. Qualifications: Program Managers: 15-20 years of experience in setting up and managing PMOs with a proven track record of successful implementation and execution. Project Managers: 8-10 years of experience in project management, with strong expertise in driving process improvements within complex and challenging environments. Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Experience working in a similar culture, characterized by strong personalities and intense financial oversight, is highly desirable. Availability to work on-site in South Denver and surrounding areas is required.
