None Location: Orlando, FL 32817 US (Primary) % Travel 10 - 20% Job Description Are you an experienced Senior Program Manager with hands-on technical and program management experience? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you to support AMERICAN SYSTEMS and work with Training Systems that immerse operators through the use of simulations of Communications, RADAR, Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Weapons, Acoustics, and aerodynamic models to provide mission readiness in immersive environments. This position does require the selected candidate to be 100% onsite in the Orlando office. As a Senior Program Manager, you will:

  • Support in the development, integration, and delivery of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) P8A Training System Combat Systems Integrated Product (CSIP).

A week in the life of a Senior Program Manager:
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of a complex training system
  • Create and manage subcontractor agreements, hardware procurement, labor resources, and earned value financial tracking for training system delivery
  • Serve as the focal point for Program Delivery by coordinating the technical and managerial elements of the Training Device delivery with engineers and team members of all types to solve problems and ensure success
  • Communicate with external organizations to coordinate information exchange and program integration across multiple delivery organizations and Navy customers
  • Work with engineering leads to implement sound engineering practices across the delivery
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree and 10 years successfully demonstrating delivery of complex systems or products
  • Basic understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering used to define, capture and communicate the technical solution
  • Technical leadership of a small-medium sized team
  • Proven application of IT Technology to develop and deploy products
  • Technical in nature but able to explain and present detailed technical subjects and processes to diverse teams and non-technical leadership
  • Strong Grasp of industry standard task and team management tools
  • Knack for quickly understanding many different forms of technology to deliver technical solutions
  • Firm grasp of DoD acquisition life cycle
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of financial tracking and DoD Earned Value Management
  • Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret; must be eligible for a security clearance if candidate does not currently possess one

The salary/hourly range for this position is $133,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
