We have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Project Analyst, Reporting & Metrics as part of our strategic expansion initiatives at Bluebird (BLBD). The ideal candidate is a dynamic, motivated individual with a strong background in governmental reporting, strategy development, research, analysis, process improvement or owner representation. This creative role focuses on identifying opportunities and driving effective project management initiatives.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO, the Senior Project Analyst is responsible for leading all aspects of government reporting to ensure reports are done correctly and completed early for internal review before submission. Responsible for developing a PMO project input tracking system along with a monthly PMO Report for the organization. Leads continuous improvement with the cross-functional team for inputs into the project tracking system and the ability to complete the PMO Report with minimum effort.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage government reporting requirements and make updates or create reports as needed prior to deadlines
* Support PMO with the development of a Project Input & Tracking System across all departments
* Communicate Action Items or needed information clearly if needed to support completing government reports or Project Reports
* Ability to use OneDrive or SharePoint to create or improve the Project Input & Tracking System to be used for Project Reporting
* Ability to create a detailed & achievable Microsoft Project timing plan with the teams input if needed
* Regularly make decisions and take independent action on matters directly affecting reporting responsibilities
* Ability to review processes and documents with the team to concisely communicate and propose ideas for continuous improvement
* Facilitate planning activities with internal and external stakeholders to uncover business requirements that will frame the plan for project success
* Support a cross-functional team towards timely execution of critical milestones
* Support the planning/scheduling of work and identification of tasks and sequences to accomplish the assigned scope
* Track and complete critical program/project milestones
* Verify and control costs charged to the Project including actual costs
* Conduct formal cost and schedule variance analysis and the development of any recovery plans required to recover schedule or cost variances
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR SUCCESS
* Knowledge of Federal Assistance Checklist & Reporting Formats/Requirements
* Ability to create or update reports monthly as needed to support government contracts
* Detail oriented with the ability to create metrics & reports to support the PMO Office
* Must be organized and able to prioritize & perform in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication, positive, and leadership skills
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 Tools: OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point
* United States Citizenship
BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, or related field preferred
* 6+ Years of experience in key engineering, manufacturing, and/or program/project analyst roles
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* PMP Certification or PM Training, preferred
* Process development, continuous improvement experience, preferred
