**What You'll Be Doing**
**Job Summary:** Generally responsible for working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure milestone dates are met in support of the overall project and construction schedule. Responsibilities also include reporting vendor data status, fabrication status, recovery plans, and shipping information to the project team and the end user. Some travel for shop surveillance may be required.
**Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:**
+ Familiarity with and utilization of department
+ Developing and maintaining supplier/contractor
+ Knowledge of the execution of heavy industrial projects, including chemical, refining, pulp/paper, power, and manufacturing.
+ Interpreting project scopes, statements of work, project schedules, and fabrication schedules.
+ Developing expediting plans for the tracking of vendor data and
+ Working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure adherence to contractual delivery dates
+ Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client
**Ideal Background**
**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in related field from an accredited university is highly preferred.
**Experience:** This position requires 15 or more years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.
**Certification:** Certification is not required for this position.
