Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Lead in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI, supporting a DoD customer. Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber-Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and its AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.

* Positions are contingent on contract award * ?Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plans, leads, and manages?personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of projects and maintains efficiency of important project management aspects such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment.
  • Develops and executes against project objectives by collaborating with the customer on needs and goals, project proposals, project plans, and intermediate execution status.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
  • Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation. Performs technical studies to refine project requirements.
  • Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
  • Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer. ? Locations:

  • Other potential short-term duration locations in the Indo-Pacific region
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • BS Degree and 12-15 years experience, or MS Degree and 10-13 years experience. or PhD and 10+ years experience OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS
  • Proficient in reviewing requirements generated by engineering and determines the resources necessary to achieve the plan, then time-phases the requirements to support the master schedule.
  • Proven experience planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing very complex IT projects and programs to meet organizational goals.
  • Experience performing planned versus actual budget analysis showing the manufacturing history of each end-item produced, detailing the planned and actual cost information for material and labor.
  • Certifications: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) OR Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP) OR AAPM Master Project Manager (MPM)
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI eligible

Desired qualifications:

  • ITIL v4 Foundation; SAFe Agilist or advanced certification

Target Salary Range:$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
