What does an Senior Project Manager do? Airport Dimensions is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager. This critical position will be responsible for leading teams to deliver new airport lounges in partnership with a large corporate entity. The Senior Project Manager will build, monitor, and track complete project plans across multiple teams of stakeholders, to include issue and risk management and project change control processes. With a thorough understanding and deployment of project management disciplines, the main objective is to ensure projects are completed on-time, within specific budget, and meets or exceeds the expectations of key stakeholders. Key influencer to follow and contribute to current and future Project Management processes and procedures and incorporates improvements as needed. Leads and collaborates effectively with different stakeholder workstreams in project statuses, project reporting, and communications to Senior Leadership. What You'll do?

  • Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to project close-down for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and chairs the project management stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identifies issues and risks.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Manage project scope and changes.
  • Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
  • Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
What You'll Need?
  • 6+ years of prior Project Management experience.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Prior airport construction, operations, lounge experience.
  • Proficient in leading multiple projects across multiple functional workstream and vendors.
  • Extensive understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience to improve, change or adapt existing processes as we move through a phase of rapid growth.
  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Smartsheet PMO tool or equivalent project management scheduling tool.
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close.
  • Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Essential:
  • 6+ years proven Project Management experience
  • Ability to travel as needed (estimate 10% annually).
  • Ability to work in-office (Plano or Irving) 2 - 3 days a week.
  • Ability to effectively work remotely.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desirable:
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with airport transportation industry, lounge programs, and operations.
  • Certificate Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience working in Smartsheet PMO tool.
