Job Description In this key position, the Project Manager - Exceptional General Contractor - Charlotte will lead critical functions that drive project success and enhance client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and client requirements
- Initiating RFIs to resolve field issues and discrepancies in plans
- Processing, reviewing, and tracking submittals
- Assessing design and shop drawings for their impact on cost and schedule
- Drafting scope of work letters for subcontractors
- Initiating change orders for the owner and soliciting bids from subcontractors
- Conducting estimates and preparing cost breakdowns for client review
- Maintaining logs for procurement, submittals, and RFIs
- Assisting with scheduling and tracking daily progress
- Facilitating communication between design and construction teams
- Leading and mentoring a team of project management professionals

The Successful Applicant The Senior Project Manager - Exceptional General Contractor - Charlotte will be instrumental in driving project success and fostering collaboration across teams, possessing the following qualifications:
- 7-10 years of project management experience in fuel distribution, retail, or a related industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required; PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in project management software and methodologies, are essential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills are necessary for managing budgets, timelines, and project scopes efficiently.
