Job Title: Senior Project Manager - High-End Residential Architecture

Position Summary: A leading architectural firm specializing in classical, high-end residential design seeks an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years in high-end classical residential architecture. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of classical design principles, architectural history, and technical drawing, with a strong portfolio in traditional high-end residential projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage one or more projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Studio Directors and Partners on project design and technical detailing.
- Develop and refine conceptual sketches and delegate presentation tasks.
- Lead both technical and design development phases.
- Coordinate tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage project team performance.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and maintain all required logs and records.
- Oversee project budget, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Review time sheets for project task accuracy to assist with billing and ensure timely invoicing.
- Monitor project milestones, ensuring they meet weekly and monthly goals.
- Serve as the primary firm contact for assigned projects and facilitate project communications.
- Mentor junior staff to help them complete their IDP requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in high-end classical residential projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, hand sketching, and a thorough understanding of building codes and permitting.
- Software Skills: Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Bluebeam is highly preferred.
- Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
