Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will be a part of Gallagher Bassetts Product Development team and work with global business and IT organizations to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain product initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring the program goals achieve expectations.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.
How you'll make an impact:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Work closely with project sponsor, business leaders, cross functional teams, to develop the scope, deliverables, resourcing, work plan, budgets, and delivery of new initiatives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate & collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, & vendors to ensure effective execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, assign tasks, and monitor their progress.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, report on project progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, best practices, and organizational policies.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned, and implement changes for future projects.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management, and apply them to improve project delivery.
About you:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with both technical and business credentials a plus
  • Experience: Ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in project / program management role, with demonstrated ability to organize and manage the interdependencies of multiple projects.
  • Skills: Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and disciplines including the ability to develop detailed work plans. Exceptional skills in communication (both oral and written), leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization. Experience in managing stakeholders.
