Overview:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Sr. Project Manager to work with an IT consulting organization that is responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining enterprise technology solutions for our clients.

Work Location:
Hybrid work location with weekly team and customer meetings on-site in the Washington, DC metro area. Travel cost are not reimbursed, candidate must be local to DC, Virginia, West Virginia, or Maryland.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including taking projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Creating multiple project plans and plan integration (Master Plans), client business plans, and client IT plans.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and cross-functional groups; including developers, business analysts, quality assurance testers, project managers, and client business partners
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
- Oversee development enhancements, operations, and technical support activities for the program.
- Supervise and track team activities to insure cost, schedule and performance requirements are met.
- Coordinate with government Program Manager (PM) to discuss priorities, requirements, configuration control and risk management plans
- Document meeting discussions and provide meeting notes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager with at least one full lifecycle as a Scrum Master or Agile PM (stand-ups, sprints, backlogs, etc.)
- Managed projects with scope to include: cost greater than $2.5M annually; project duration of 12 months or greater; team size no less than 20 people of varying skills and IT disciplines; new development projects from requirements through implementation; multiple, concurrent project management experience.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- PMP certification
- Expert with MS Project and MS Office
- Demonstrated use of formal PM methodology
- An eagerness for a career in consulting
- Public / Government industry experience is required
- CSM certification or PMI-ACP certification is preferred
