Client Partnership: We have partnered with a highly successful engineering firm that is in search of a Senior Project Manager to join their team to focus on surface and below land development projects. Insight: Our client is 100% Employee Owned and is headquartered in Southern California.Overview: The ideal Senior Project Manager will have broad experience in land development to support the company.Areas of Contribution & Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the firm's representative in client meetings to define the Scope of Work, prepare fee estimates, conduct site assessments, establish project timelines, and develop and finalize proposals.
- Drive the profitability of the profit center by overseeing team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance.
- Engage in regional and company decision-making and growth strategies through regular meetings, promoting company values and providing positive leadership.
- Hold a PE license and oversee up to two Project Managers while directly supervising up to four non-supervisory staff members.
- Support business development efforts for potential clients.
- Oversee the preparation of plans, technical reports, cost estimates, and other deliverables for clients.
- Monitor project budgets, issue billing instructions and change order requests, prepare invoices, and negotiate and finalize back charges.
- Other duties as needed.
What You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in project management and team management/mentorship.
- Advanced problem solving, decision-making, communication and team building skills.
- Experience working with survey mapping, stormwater management, grading, roadways, and similar projects.
Compensation: Estimated annual compensation range: $145,000 -$175,000 based on skills and experience.
