Job Summary:
Lead the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. May support the local management in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units. May carry accountability for a portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead project teams, plan execution, and provide resource feedback.
- Portfolio Management: Ensure consistency across project portfolios following best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Improve processes, tools, and compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
- Budget & Operations: Support sales and tendering, monitor project financials, and ensure efficient resource use.
- Contract Management: Oversee contracts, claims, procurement, and supplier negotiations.
- Stakeholder Relations: Act as the main customer contact and manage key internal and external relationships.
- Health & Safety: Ensure project compliance with HSE policies and initiatives for site safety.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, provide feedback, and support project recovery.
- Planning & Scheduling: Apply advanced techniques to manage schedules and mitigate risks.
Experience and Qualifications
- 8 or more years leading projects or equivalent experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- ABB Certified Projects License or PMP certification
- Experience with SAP and other business/project systems
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card [TWIC]
