Hays have exclusively partnered with a Maryland based ownership group who is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to manage a major, $200M multifamily housing development in Maryland.

This Senior Project Manager job will be a good fit for construction professionals with 12+ years GC or client side CM or PM experience and have gained exposure to working on large $80M+ construction developments.

Your new role:

As an in-house Senior Project Manager, you will play an integral support role on the design and construction of a major commercial development. This will include developing the design alongside the internal architects, seeing the project through preconstruction, and estimating, assessment and management of the general contractor as well as overseeing contracts, scope of work and schedules. You will also contribute to the entire financial management of your projects, including developing and delivering on the budget you put together with your senior and wider real estate team.

Throughout the duration of the project you will work alongside the real estate team and hand over to an internal facilities team so you need to be able foster deep, close working relations with team members.

What you'll need to succeed:

• 12+ years of Commercial Construction experience, working for either a general contractor or working directly for a consultancy firm and/or end user/client.
• Large, ground-up commercial construction project experience, ideally $80M plus and on multifamily or hotel developments.
• A bachelor degree is required, preferred in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering.
• You will demonstrate strong communication, problem solving and team building skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
