Manages all phases of the project, from preconstruction through close out, and the sustainable growth of the company through our vision, mission and values. Reports to a Project Executive, or Business Unit Leader. Directly manages Project Managers, Superintendents and other project staff. Coordinates activities with the Project Executive and assigned staff in Preconstruction, Business Development and Human Resources as required in the execution of assigned projects. Accountable to the Project Executive for successful execution of assigned projects, as well as the development and behavior of all project staff. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, contract requirements, quality standards, loss control policy and accomplishes quantitative and qualitative goals and objectives as set forth in the individual project plans. Has authority to commit to matters of cost and schedule, in accordance with guidelines, while serving as the Company's daily point of contact with the Owner on assigned projects. In conjunction with the Project Executive, makes recommendations to approve, recruit, hire, promote, transfer, or terminate Operations personnel.As a Senior Project Manager at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to:Manage the process to deliver the initial feeEnforce project Safety PlansPlan and project staffing needs during both preconstruction and constructionMake recommendations to Project Executive for staffing changes, training and recognitionAssist the Project Executive in coordinating the allocation of resources including materials, equipment, and people for assigned projectsAddress all change requests promptly (Owner and Subcontractor) and accurately throughout project durationEnsure accurate, timely procurement of all items necessary for execution of the project planEnsure the detail and accuracy of Subcontractor/Supplier scopes of workAdminister a monthly PFR/JCR meeting with Project Executive for each assigned jobEstablish, maintain and update the project schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent, including milestones and procurement activitiesWith Project Executive/Business Unit Leader, participate in Owner contract negotiationsDevelop Guaranteed Maximum Price proposals in conjunction with preconstruction servicesDevelop project schedule in conjunction with SuperintendentConduct accurate and timely execution of subcontract buyout process, including Subcontractor negotiationsManage all Owner deliverables during preconstruction and constructionDirect and maintain the Quality Program on each projectHold regular meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve cost and schedule issues on a timely basisImplement a comprehensive, detailed Owner's Status Report to be presented on a monthly basisConduct mandatory project planning meetings, monthly job progress meetings, and project closeout meetingsDocument, train and assist Owner personnel in turnover and commissioning of the project systemsDevelop, train and mentor all levels of Project Managers and Superintendents to assume ownership in the delivery process with a business mentalityAdminister the year-round performance appraisal process (development, assessment, compensation, promotion, discipline, termination) for direct report personnelREQUIREMENTS:Undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field; equivalent combination of technical training and work-related experience in lieu of degreeMinimum of ten years' experience in commercial construction, design, finance and managementMust have large Hospital project experienceThorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activitiesProficiency in Fisk's computer software and keyboarding necessaryAdvanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documentsSuperior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essentialFisk Electric builds extraordinary projects and we need exceptional talent.
