If you have experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technologies like Nutanix, that's a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, and security initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, budgets, schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—network engineers, system administrators, software developers, and vendors—to meet project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively resolve issues, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, maintaining clear and consistent communication with leadership, sponsors, and team members.
  • Apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and coordinate training and support for end-users and operations teams.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to shape and build a project management practice from the ground up.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management and ensuring alignment, timely delivery, and scope/change management.

Technical Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or equivalent software.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management practices is preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on solving complex challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large infrastructure teams and fostering strong vendor relationships.
