About the Company - We're seeking a highly organized and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team of talented construction professionals. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the successful planning, coordination, and completion of our commercial construction projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning & Development:
- Ability to develop detailed project estimates.
- Collaborate with estimators, architects, and engineers to develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Secure all necessary building permits and licenses.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labor.
Execution & Supervision:
- Manage subcontractors, field personnel, and suppliers for effective project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Track project progress, identify potential delays, and proactively implement corrective measures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, and engineers.
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Effectively address and resolve client inquiries and concerns.
Budget Control & Financial Management:
- Monitor project costs against budget and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Generate and manage change orders as needed.
- Collaborate with accounting on project invoicing and payment collections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial general, plumbing, mechanical or electrical construction.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional), LEED AP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
