We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in business intelligence (BI) and analytics projects to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity where you will report directly to the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Director while working closely with the Supply Chain and Analytics teams. You will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the entire analytics project workstream, ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Oversight: Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of BI and analytics projects, from initiation to closure.
- Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain and Analytics teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project continuity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between EPMO, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and adhere to agreed-upon KPIs.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and productivity.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates to the EPMO Director and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement best practices for project management within BI and analytics domains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on BI and analytics projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects in remote settings.
- In-depth understanding of analytics tools, platforms, and methodologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, data warehouses).
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and their integration with analytics solutions.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master are a plus.
