Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CIO to develop and manage the Project Portfolio.
- Work with the CIO and senior management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Lead the requirements gathering process, working closely with business owners, business analysts, and IT resources.
- Create detailed project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource needs.
- Provide guidance to management, reviewing project proposals, budgets, staffing requirements, resource allocation, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Coordinate and oversee project teams, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and addressing issues or risks.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, offering insights and recommendations for future projects.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support project governance and maintain the project dashboard for the department.
- Assist the IT team with administrative tasks using the Information Systems Project Management Tool.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Solid understanding of business process improvements, including Change Management, Work Prioritization, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Continuous Improvement practices.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience:
- PMP or Agile certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a successful track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.
