Job DescriptionSUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Working out of the Office of Ambulatory Care, Associate Director of Business Planning & Administrations will support the Senior Director and the Deputy Executive Director in Business Planning, procurement and other administrative tasks. This role will help to support new Enterprise-wide initiatives. This position will support ongoing and new ambulatory care operations in contracting, budgeting, human resources, project management and implementation.General tasks and responsibilities will include:• Assist with Ambulatory Care teams to develop annual PS and OTPS budgets, run regular check ins with teams to ensure they are on target with finance goals• Serve as point person for all office procurement including approving funds in People Soft• Work across the Office of Ambulatory Care, Central Office, and the Enterprise to develop business plans for new initiatives, including project modeling and helping to develop presentations to the Contracts Review Committee and NYC Health + Hospitals Board of Directors• Track and support finance and legal departments in procurement and contracting• Support HR in administrative tasks for business plan implementation (i.e. writing job descriptions, ensuring new positions are posted)• Manage and track aspects of the hiring, onboarding, and rostering process• Support emergency initiatives by working closely with HR, legal, Medical & Professional Affairs, labor relations, finance and staffing agencies• Manage special initiatives and projects for Ambulatory Care Operations working closely with other departments across the enterprise• Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in #1 of Level I above;and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, management and execution ofclinical projects and programs of various complexities, in a health care setting or for health care programs,one (1) year of which must have been directly managing multiple concurrent clinical projects and programsin those areas; or2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in #1 of Level Iabove; and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience, three (3) years of which must have been,as described in #2 of Level II above; or3. Completion of education leading to a degree in nursing, medicine or a related clinical area can besubstituted on a one-to-one basis for experience as described in #1 above. However, all candidates musthave at least three years' experience managing concurrent clinical projects/programs and/or clinicalresearch experience; or4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Department Preferences• Three (3) year' experience in health operations or relevant supportive services.
