You will be exposed to all accounting facets of the business and take full ownership of one portfolio. You will maintain the books and records for the commercial and mixed use portfolio and suggestion profitable financial decisions by creating forecasts and analyzing budgets.

Title: Senior Property Accountant
Location: Bronx, NY onsite M-Thursday (Half day Friday's)
Salary: $115,000 to $132,000, DOE
Responsibilities:
All aspects of the quarterly and annual accounting close and financial reporting cycles - including balance sheet and income statement preparation for assigned portfolio of properties
Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to joint venture partners and lenders
Prepare cash reporting and cash forecasting
Maintain annual fixed asset schedules for building/tenant improvements
Calculate estimated and actual year end CAM & real estate tax
Preparation of work papers to be used in conjunction with audits
Input and analyze budgets for assigned portfolio of properties
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of experience in commercial real estate
Strong analytical skills
US GAAP
Preferred/Learn:
CPA Track/License, Big 4, REIT
Experience with Yardi Software
