SUMMARYManage and maintain operations of 251 or more units for the Tulsa Housing Authority (THA) properties to ensure the assets of the authority are safe guarded and that profitability is maximized. The Senior Property Manager is also responsible to ensure the long-term viability of the properties following the Asset Management approach of making sure that the sites remain fiscally sound. Supervise all staff and activities at the sites in a way that ensures the properties remains fiscally sound.Who We AreTHA provides publicly assisted housing comprised of traditional public housing, mixed-finance sites, and housing vouchers. Currently, THA provides assistance to more than 20,000 individuals, or 7,200 families. THA is governed by a voluntary Board of Commissioners, each of whom is appointed by the Mayor of the City of Tulsa. The board employs THA's President/CEO, who in turn employs the remainder of THA's staff of approximately 200 team members.Requirements (Not an all inclusive list)
- Associate degree, or at least 60 college credits, or four years related experience. Property management experience is strongly preferred.
- Professional Housing Manager (PHM) certificate or Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) highly preferred. Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience or certification is preferred. PHM must be obtained within one year of employment, or its equivalent.
- Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license.
