Senior QA Automation/Manual Engineer Primary Location: New York, New York V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior QA Automation/Manual Engineer for our premier client in New York, New York. Education and Experience
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
- Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes.
- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (ADO, JIRA, RCLM).
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Experience with automation testing using Selenium or similar tool.
- Experience with API testing using postman or SoapUI.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
MUST:
- SDET (Min 8 years).
- Web Application testing.
- CI/CD Process.
- Version Control, Defect tracking, test management tools (ADO, JIRA, RCLM).
- Agile/Waterfall process.
- SQL Databases.
- Selenium.
- Automation Testing.
- API Testing.
- Postman.
- SoapUI.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must Have:
- Acceptance testing.
- Automation Tester.
- Conducted Manual Testing.
- UAT Tester.
- API Testing Postman.
- Automation Test Engineer.
- Automation testing of client server and web applications.
- C#, Selenium, Automation, API Testing, Azure DevOps and SpecFlow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
- Design and implement test plans and test cases.
- Develop and execute automated/ manual UI and functional tests.
- Drive software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile/ waterfall process.
- Enhance and maintain automated CI flows.
- Review and validate UAT test results.
- Troubleshoot issues in systems under test.
