Purpose of the Role The Senior Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all work performed meets or exceeds the required standards, codes, and specifications. By conducting thorough inspections and audits, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality projects. The role contributes to Worley's commitment to sustainable change by ensuring compliance with industry regulations, which helps to support operational integrity and reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure that work complies with industry codes and specifications, ensuring high standards are met in all aspects of the project.
  • Accurately complete records and documentation related to inspections, ensuring all findings are properly recorded and reported in a timely manner.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate inspection tools and equipment to ensure precision in all testing and inspection activities.
  • Actively participate in clean-up and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and orderly work environment in line with workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to communicate and resolve quality issues, reinforcing Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications / Skill Set Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in the industrial construction or maintenance sectors, particularly with energy, chemicals, or resources projects. Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of quality control and inspection processes within industrial environments, with an ability to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry codes. Certification: Must hold a valid NCEER Certified Plus certification, with either written or performance verification. Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify issues or non-compliance during inspections, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, as required in industrial environments. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly to address and resolve quality issues in line with project goals.
