Job Description:

Synopsys Inc. is looking for a full-time candidate to work on the industry's leading and fastest emulation system, Zebu Server.

You will join the clock processing team of the ZeBu compiler and work on many different aspects at the heart of emulation technologies. You will get exposed to scalability problems on graphs with billions of nodes, in a highly multi-threaded code-base in C++, and participate in innovating to solve a critical problem: close an ever-widening gap between today's computer performance and next generation chips complexity.

This role is best suited to someone with a computer science degree interested in graph theory and writing multithreaded, complex algorithms with a tight-knit team mostly local to Marlborough, MA.

Job Requirements:
  • MS/Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and propose creative and efficient solutions.
  • Experience with efficient algorithm and data structure design.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work well either in a team-based environment and autonomously.
  • Knowledge of hardware design language a plus, but not a requirement.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $96,000-$144,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
