You will join a talented team and as a Senior Engineer you will get to lead and implement web and mobile projects, as well as influence the team's operation and culture.This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 3 days per week.   • Lead and facilitate new feature development in our web and React Native mobile app.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver strong customer-focused experiences and understand the why of feature development.
  • Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. automated testing, code reviews, and writing scalable, pragmatic code) for developing our high volume, highly available applications.
  • Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Who We're Looking For
  • Expert knowledge of React Native and state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
  • Knowledge of App Store policies and the mobile store lifecycle including store policies, publishing, deployments, and provisioning.
  • Proficient with JavaScript, HTML and CSS3
  • Ability to lead large projects along with other engineers and provide valuable code review
  • A sincere commitment to crafting readable and reliable code
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USDThe base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant experience, and location, among other factors.In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.About SquarespaceSquarespace is a design-driven platform helping entrepreneurs build brands and businesses online.
