Job Responsibilities:
  • Manages full life cycle recruiting for a broad range of positions.
  • Assists in the creation of sourcing strategies to identify and attract high-quality candidates.
  • Manages posting and advertising for assigned positions as needed.
  • Identifies high caliber candidates for current and anticipated job opportunities.
  • Assesses, qualifies, and prioritizes candidates according to how well they match and exceed position requirements.
  • Keeps hiring managers informed throughout the hiring process with updates and timely communication.
  • Ensures all candidates have an ideal experience by providing timely contact, feedback, and support.
  • Ensures data integrity by using all available technology and systems to accurately capture, track, and report relevant data in real time.
  • Establishes strong relationships across Shepherd Center and a reputation among hiring managers as a consultative partner who understands their units/departments, position requirements, and anticipated openings.
  • Meets regularly with hiring managers regarding open/anticipated positions, candidates identified in process, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assists with delivery of projects related to recruitment initiatives.
  • Participates regularly in networking activities and recruiting events.
  • Promotes Shepherd Center at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations.
  • Cultivates applicant attendee relationships, identifying possible talent.
  • Coordinates interviews from attendee lists.
  • Networks in the community and builds relationships across institutions.
  • Establishes, cultivates, and maintains ongoing relationships with potential candidates in order to grow pool of referrals, maintaining and updating records of prospects on an ongoing basis.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility.
  • Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Workday.
  • Recruiting experience in healthcare.
  • Ability to recruit and manage 20 plus job requisitions at one time.
  • Ability to provide great service and thorough communication to all recruiting stakeholders.
Required Minimum Education:
  • Education level appropriate with what is normally gained through the acquisition of a Bachelor's degree.
Required Minimum Certification:
  • No professional certifications required.
Required Minimum Experience:
  • Five years of experience in high volume recruiting or equivalent experience in human resources/ recruiting support; or combination of experience.
  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
Required Minimum Skills:
  • Understanding of sourcing strategies and behavior interview techniques and learns to use professional concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interface with a diverse mix of people and handle difficult situations.
  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently.
  • Excellent grammar, vocabulary, and annunciation.
  • Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using resume and applicant tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining positive relationships with applicants, hiring leaders, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute recruitment strategies and searches.
  • Knowledgeable about HR related laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to build robust sourcing plans for passive candidates.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in high volume recruiting of professional, clinical, physician, or information technology positions.
  • Experience in human resources.
  • Experience in corporate or agency healthcare recruitment.
  • Experience with Workday.
Physical Demands:
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time or exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Working Conditions:
  • No potential for exposure to blood and body fluids.
