Role Overview:
This Senior Recruiter position will be responsible for collaborating closely with the People Team and hiring teams, playing a key role in developing and executing our hiring strategy and establishing a robust candidate pipeline to support business growth. This position offers an entrepreneurial approach to building a new talent network for our high-demand organization.
This role will manage full lifecycle recruiting needs for the business. This will include creating compelling job postings to accompany job descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Samsung Lennox's talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers.
Key Role Focuses:
- Source, screen and review applications and prescreen candidates to gather important details about candidates (key background review, education, key qualification areas, and desired compensation for professional (exempt) roles
- Coordinate and schedule interviews (phone interviews and video interviews via Microsoft Teams)
- Manage requisitions in ADP Workforce now to support sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for professionals in the HVAC industry to meet the needs of the business
- Post all roles on LinkedIn Recruiter to field top talent interest and build talent pools and will devote time to creative sourcing strategy (i.e. search industry career sites, attend recruiting events, etc.) to find the best talent in the market
- Build relationships with external organizations to connect the community to the business with a focus on promoting and growing diverse groups to HVAC careers
Qualification Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related business field preferred but not required
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a full cycle Recruiter / Talent Sourcer
- Previous experience sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions in a niche business
- Advanced computer skills / systems navigation required:
- Microsoft Word (to build and format job postings)
- Excel (intermediate level needed for manual report creation)
- Outlook (to manage email exchanges and to schedule interviews)
- ADP Workforce Now (applicant tracking system/ HRIS)
- Microsoft Teams (for collaboration and interview scheduling)
- LinkedIn Recruiter (will manage job posting activity, pipelining, and sourcing)
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Previous experience working in a start-up environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information required
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities for multiple constituents to meet deadlines in a high-volume fast paced corporate environment required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to report into the Roanoke, TX office location Monday through Thursday weekly (onsite role)
- Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing to attend job fairs and recruiting events as needed
