The Senior Regional Director is accountable and responsible for the operational execution of the Explosive Detection Canine (EDC) program for the EDC Northeast operations. The Senior Regional Director is responsible for all aspects primarily by understanding client needs, and proactively meeting them through the management of client relations and departmental employees, coordinating needed support services to meet or exceed operational goals and providing quality customer service in the most cost-effective manner, within the company standards.RESPONSIBILITIES:Operational responsibility and accountability for Regional Managers, Field Supervisors, Field Trainers and the Scheduling group to ensure daily operations of 200+ Explosive Detection teams are operating efficientlyServe as the direct representative of the Security Leadership and Management team to the field and relay and enforce operational decisions and intentResponsible and accountable for representation of EPS Canine/MSA Security with all clients; coordinate and provide sales representatives with professional guidance and insight in support of client management, sales presentations, new business proposals, Requests for Proposal (RFP), and business continuityUnderstand and manage to the Collective Bargaining Agreement; work closely with union leadership to address Issues at the local levelImplement and enforce employee Standards of Performance and Conduct as applicable to EDC handlerDevelop and manage EDC budget expenditure to stay within EDC budgetManage manpower as it directly applies to the EDC program; ensure no client post goes unmanned by a qualified MSA EDC teamResponsible for supervising EDC handler field sustainment trainingDirect and supervise the efforts of Field Training personnel; liaison with Field Supervisors to ensure unity of effortConduct initial inquiry and investigations into allegations of employee misconduct, SOP violations, and grievancesRecommend policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, safety and overall performance in meeting client's expectationsRecruit and hire Individuals for all roles within the regionResolve Issues quickly as they relate to scheduling challenges, requests for additional EDCHs from clients, coverage for drill weekends, etc. Ensure all posts are covered 24x7Learn, manage, and support all lines of business opportunities within the region, including but not limited to Explosive Detection, Firearms Detection, Narcotics Detention, etc. within Commercial and Air Cargo settings; understand the compliance components within eachResponsible for the planning and logistics related to staffing of posts and ongoing training of field staff, including the annual, monthly, and quarterly requirementsInterpret and disseminate company policy to subordinate personnel; and evaluate employee performance to include coaching, development, and supportDevelop, review and refine all Post OrdersQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of ten (10) years of explosive detection canine operations experienceMinimum of five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role managing people and operations in law enforcement or militaryExcellent oral and written communications skillsProficiency with conflict resolution techniquesAbility to collaborate with other departments to fulfill business needsAbility to evaluate program effectiveness and ensure operation efficiency and quality controlExcellent decision-making abilityAbility to strategically planDemonstrated leadership abilityStrong customer focusAbility to utilize technology, Including Microsoft Office applications, and learn new technologiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):Prior work with client relationsASIS Certified Protection ProfessionalBENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirementsPaid time off offered at an accrual rate of 1 hour per 25 hours worked on a weekly basisEight paid holidays (subject to eligibility)Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more!PAY: $125,000 - $140,000 per yearAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
