A leading global Reinsurance Company is seeking an experienced Reinsurance Contracts Analyst to sit in their NYC office. This individual will be responsible for analyzing Treaty Reinsurance Contracts across North America, working cross-functionally with underwriting and broking teams to advise on Contract Language, manage the contracting process, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Senior Management, Treaty Underwriters, Reinsurance Brokers, Claims teams, Legal teams, etc.
- Identify and communicate changes in contracts regarding Clients, Brokers, Business Lines, Clauses, and the context in which these changes have occurred historically.
- Support contract administration; keep internal records of documentation and ensure updates are reflected within internal database.
- Work with brokers to navigate Contract Wordings, and communicate to underwriters effectively.
- Assist on special projects across the business, involved in multiple business lines; provide feedback, support contract drafting efforts, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ YOE with Reinsurance Treaty Analysis as either an Analyst or a Treaty Underwriter.
- Reinsurance Qualifications (CPCU, ARe) are considered a strong plus.
- Strong technical skills related to Reinsurance Contract structures and coverage.
- Deep knowledge of Reinsurance Industry and Operations.
