Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAs a SeniorProject Manager at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects. This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, project schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external). Responsibilities include ownership of the engineering outcomes and project delivery. You will also advise the Program Principal on construction status, ensuring production schedules are met, lead project engineering problem solving efforts and deliver the project in accordance with the project estimate and contract requirements.You will report directly to our Program Principal and you'll work out of our Canton, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee Project Management and support the construction and implementation of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.Responsible for a project team of multi-skilled employees, including maintaining the project Safety Plan and OH&S responsibilities within the team.Ensure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers.Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule and budget.Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects. Ensure use of Honeywell project processes and toolsDirect the day-to-day operations of the project team.Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, maintain customer relationships at the appropriate senior level.Manage effective communications with all project stakeholders.Define all subcontract /supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost.and risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as necessary.Deliver to the financial objectives for the project and control billing and costs for the project.Assist with reporting and forecasting on project(s) assigned.Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Program Principal.Manage overall project budget and scheduleAttend and participate in weekly construction meetings at designated project site location(s).Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence.Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.Assist with procuring equipment through domestic and international supply chains.Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material.Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLBenefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, Mental HealthPaid Vacation401k Plan & MatchingCareer GrowthProfessional DevelopmentThe annual base salaryrange for this position is $145,000 - $180,000. Please note that this salaryinformation serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factorswhen extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope andresponsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, educationand training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. This position is incentive plan eligible.You Must HaveBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred; equivalent years of work experience will be considered.Proven track record delivering Solar and BESS projects on budget and on time.Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction/project management experience in Solar and BESS projects.We ValueCompetent experience managing large scale construction and engineering projects involving new construction, upgrades, renovations, and retrofits involving private, institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.Competent experience installing and commissioning PV/BESS Equipment (PV Modules, Batteries, Inverters, Racking, and Data Acquisition Systems / SCADA) design standards, installation, and operation.Competent experience overseeing the installation and commissioning of power electronics and controls (Switchgear, Transformers, Switching, Controls, and Protection) design standards, installation, and operation.Competent knowledge of utility, municipal, state, and federal renewable energy policies.Competent experience assisting the design process of large projects with multiple engineering disciplines, specifically: Civil, Environmental (Geotech, Hydrology & Ecology), Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Low Voltage, Electrical Medium Voltage, Communication & Controls, and Lighting.Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Project.Proficiency with related project management software.Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standingABOUT HONEYWELLHoneywell International Inc.
